Concrete Scanning
We can scan within hospitals, populated businesses, and computer centers with- out disrupting day-to-day activities or affecting sensitive electronic equipment. Our GPR surveys provide real time results which identify potential problem areas immediately prior to drilling or cutting into concrete structures.
Concrete Coring
We use diamond tip coring and cutting blades. Core drilling can be performed in steel-reinforced concrete slabs, walls, brick, asphalt, masonry block or even stone.—without vibration. No vibration ensures that nearby structures aren’t damaged in the drilling process. This makes diamond core drilling the technique of choice for environmentally-conscious contractors.
GPR Imaging
GPR is a real-time NDT technique that quickly locates the position of post tension cables, rebar, and electrical conduits embedded in concrete. Accurate target location within a concrete slab-on-grade, wall, or supported slab can be achieved more quickly, safely, and economically with GPR services instead of other existing techniques.
Utility Locating
Utility location is the process of identifying and labeling public utility mains which are underground. For metal pipes and cables, this is often done with electromagnetic equipment consisting of a transmitter and a receiver. For other types of pipe, such as plastic or concrete, other types of radiolocation or modern ground-penetrating radar must be used.
3D Laser Scanning
Using the Trimble RealWorks Survey, Scan2Core, Inc. can take the millions of points captured in a single scan and convert them into a usable form for processing in RealWorks Survey or your favorite CAD package . RealWorks Survey automates each step from data capture to client-ready deliverable—it’s powerful but extremely easy to use.
CONCRETE X-RAY
GPR is real-time and we provide accurate locations of critical structural or embedded items to within half an inch. It is safer and less invasive than X-RAY and work can be performed anywhere without shutting down your jobsite.
