Experienced Scanner
Scan2Core Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to support the expansion of our Concrete Scanning Division using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technologies.
Description
Fieldwork includes the use of GPR equipment to locate the following items embedded in concrete slabs prior to their cutting and removal:
- Rebar
- Conduits
- Post-tension cables
- Underground utilities
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with:
- High technical aptitude and physical capabilities
- Strong professionalism and work ethic
- Background in general construction or experience with GPR, concrete scanning or utility locating. Comprehensive company training will be provided either way.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently on active job sites
- Excellent communication, social and interpersonal skills
- Ability to document data, write reports and communicate findings
Our GPR Technicians are known for being courteous, professional and punctual. You must have these qualities and also:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and travel out of town if necessary (including interdepartmental work).

Scan2Core Concrete Cutting Division is rapidly expanding and is seeking experienced hard-working core drillers and concrete sawing professionals.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- 2+ years core drilling, concrete sawing and/or removal experience
- Operate and maintain company van & tools
- Report to job sites in a timely manner - Able to lift & move 100 lbs or more
- Willing to work hard, safety-oriented & team player
- Comply with all safety requirements essential to the safe and adequate performance
- Willing to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)
- Mathematical aptitude (willing to train measurements & calculations)
